Kam Nix - Singer and Songwriter 

Kam is a local singer songwriter that opened for Maggie Rose and was chosen as one of the local artists for 3 years in a row at Roscolusa Songwriters Festival in Nocatee.  She plays all around town and has recent gigs at Lynches Irish Pub and Sawgrass Country Club.  Kam is the General Manager at Angie's Subs and recently help opened the new location in Atlantic Beach where she is one of the partners.

Don and Debbie Story - TacoLu opened in 2008 in a little building on Beach Blvd. From the beginning, many people were dubious about the timing and future of our little taco stand.  Aside from the fact no one could pronounce the name, the American economy was tanking, and lost people thought it was "just plain silly to open a business in these conditions," we still thought it was worth a shot.  It was either open our own place or go to work for someone else, I thought, and so we were off.

It took a while, but the Lu eventually gained a life of its own (ad quite an extensive Tequila list in the process)!  After 5 years in the original location, with an unbelievable amount of patronage and support, we grew into our current building, the site of the old Homestead Restaurant, which has SO MUCH history and excitement attached to it!

Beer:  Enjoy 2 pints of Southern Swells favorite brews on tap. In addition, wine, water and soda will be available for drink ticket use.

Silent Auction: We will have a table of some great silent auction items. Make sure to check out table and bid on and bid often.  

50/50 Drawing: We will also have a 50/50 Drawing - which half goes to the winner and half goes back to the Jay Fund. Purchase your 50/50 tickets at the night of the event.

Costs: $75.00 per person - 1 event ticket, 2 drink tickets, and 1 meal ticket
